DOVIA Sacramento is hosting an
Interactive Virtual Workshop
Embodied Vision: Values Alignment in Somatic Practice
Participants will explore how somatic tools can deepen strategic visioning for nonprofit professionals, aligning organizational goals with core values and lived experience.
This interactive workshop invites nonprofit professionals to engage in strategic visioning through the lens of somatic awareness. Participants will explore how embodied practices—such as breath work, movement, and guided reflection—can clarify values, surface organizational tensions, and foster alignment between mission and action.
This session is designed to be experiential and inclusive of multiple learning styles (visual, aural, kinesthetic). Attendees will leave with a toolkit of somatic exercises and a draft of a values-aligned visioning framework they can adapt for their teams.
Takeaways include:
- A somatic toolkit for strategic planning
- A draft values-aligned visioning framework
- Increased awareness of how embodiment supports leadership clarity
- Peer insights from shared nonprofit challenges
