Looking for solid ways to improve your connection with remote stakeholders? Virtual meetings and training help establish an engaging, trusting, and productive atmosphere. We'll show you how to use some of the advanced features of Zoom, share some fun digital apps and highlight some additions you can make to create a more virtually interactive presentation.  Online meetings are here to stay - so it's time to learn to do them better!

  • Gauge volunteers’ wants and needs—virtually
  • Keep shy folks engaged and participating
  • Add Zoom to your train the trainer program for lead staff and volunteers
  • Transform traditional "flipchart" brainstorming into an online setting
  • Come away with apps you can use to add some zing to your presentations

Lunch with us! We invite you to turn your camera on (shut down other apps) and set your virtual background to blur.

(And Yes...we will record all bites!)

Leslie Fritz, CPRP

2021 Education Chair, DOVIA Sacramento

Leslie has a passion for improving the learning and meeting environment with experiential activities that allow adults to problem-solve together. Her favorite past-time is hosting Zoom parties while using video filters, backgrounds, and online games to make the gathering fun.

Leslie's work for 2021 is two-fold: to create outreach initiatives for Leadership Outfitters, LLC., a consulting firm and to coach subject matter experts for live, virtual instructor-led training or meeting facilitation. Before that, she managed a state-wide professional development/continuing education program for local government park and recreation employees. This work included managing over 200 volunteers a year.
