The DiSC profile is a non-judgemental tool used for discussion of people's behavioral differences. If you participate in a DiSC program, you'll be asked to complete a series of questions that produce a detailed report about your personality and behavior.

The DiSC model provides a common language that people can use to better understand themselves and adapt their behaviors with others - within a work team, a sales relationship, a leadership position, or other relationships

At this workshop you will learn about the DiSC assessment and how you can utilize it with your volunteers. You'll be able to use this tool to place your volunteers where they will make the most impact for your organization.

Each participant will take the assessment and get their results.

About the Speakers:
DISC Assessment Training will be led by Mariann Eitzman, Director of Connections & Classes at Bayside Church, and Barbara Fitzwater, retired Director of Volunteer Services Administration for Kaiser Permanente Medical Center. Between the two of them, Mariann and Barb have managed thousands of volunteers including recruiting and placement. They know that the key to a happy volunteer is knowing the right spot for them to serve in.  This is critical for volunteer retention-- and happy volunteers can be the face of your organization!
